Low Moor and High Moor
A low moor with its thick tufts of grass, small sedges, has emerged on humid ground over time. Some of the low moor fields are used for grazing either extensively, intensively or no longer cultivated.
Some downgraded high moors with small embedded running waters are used for hay-making. In the south-east region of the Ranzental is a high moor which is surrounded by a spruce tree forest and is already densely overgrown.
