The Life Project "Wild River Landscape Tyrolean Lech" was finalised in April 2007.
A little ringed plover sits on a very white Lech pebble, about the size of its head. It is stretching its beak against the wind, which is brushing its feathers flat. But for once we are not interested in the attractive bird with the suggestive yellow rings around its eyes, but in the stone on which it is perched. Where does it come from?
