Fallerschein Wildlife Observation Stand

This hike leads to the wildlife observation stand in the Alpe Fallerschein. There one can observe the majestic red deer in their natural habitat without disturbing them. An impressive nature spectacle!


From May to October there are often up to 100 red deer on  the mountain slopes. With a telescope and a sufficient distance we can experience an impressive species which enriches our mountain world. Red deer are very intelligent and require undisturbed and quiet areas. Its habitat stretches  from fields and floodplains in the valley to sparse mountain forests and high-alpine regions.
